School Council
Each class at Swalecliffe, from Yr2-6, has a School Council representative - now known as the Communication Team. We have recently joined the Smart School Council organisation which supports us with ideas, questions and structure, in order for us to share our Pupils Voice. Being able to debate our concerns, hopes, and ideas in a safe and positive space is so important as we all grow into responsible and independent citizens. It is important to know that our opinions are valued and that we can impact our learning and school environment.
We meet three times a term and have the opportunity to bring class suggestions for discussion. We also help organise charity events and represent the school on various occasions.
School Council, under the guidance of Mrs Hughes, plays a vital role in our school community.
